Post 3: My Dream Job

The career I am currently studying is Theory and History of Art. A job that I would like to have after finishing my studies at the university is that of an art curator. Some of the tasks that an art curator has are Investigating the authenticity and historical value of various artistic works, organizing the collection of works in the presentation or museum, explaining the origin and meaning of the exhibited work, developing and organizing all the elements that are related to the exhibition, highlight the artistic sense of each work so that it is understood in the best way and make decisions regarding how and when some works are shown, being a coherent sequence.

I imagine that this job must be very entertaining and challenging, since a good curator must have the ability not only to tell a good story, but also to surprise the viewer, building a story that connects something that is known. a bit with something that is not yet known, in this sense the curator is a creator of sources of knowledge and creative inspiration. I had never wondered how much an art curator's salary is, but now that I had to investigate about it I found out that the salary is quite variable depending on the institution in which they belong.

one of the changes that I would like my study program to have, the truth is, there are not many, I think that each course is very well thought out and helps to make my career very interesting. However, one of the changes that I would make is that it last longer since there are many topics that are not talked about, such as some in the category of aesthetics and philosophy.Another thing that I would change is the opportunity to choose different courses and that the option to choose is not so limiting. Another thing that I would change is that they prepare us for the specific activities that we have to do after we finish studying the degree. Despite these small changes, I think that in general my study program is fine and I appreciate that you have thought it through so well.

POST 2: The Best Concert

A memorable concert I have attended was in the year 2018. It was very exciting to be able to go listen to one of my favorite bands, his name is Radiohead. I went with my brothers and friends, I felt that it is much better to go to concerts in a group and especially with people with same the taste music. Radiohead is a British alternative rock band. formed in 1985, Specifically, it is a band originally from Abingdon-on-Thames, a city in the south of England. Its members are Thom Yorke (vocals, guitar, piano), Jonny Greenwood (lead guitar, keyboards, other instruments), Ed O'Brien (guitar, backing vocals), Colin Greenwood (bass, keyboards) and Phil Selway (drums, percussion).
